This year's theme: "A Taste of Nature"!
European Day of Parks was launched by EUROPARC in 1999 to celebrate and raise awareness of the natural protected areas of Europe. This year over 300 events will be held in 23 countries to share "a taste of nature".
EUROPARC's mission is to “improve the management of Protected Areas in Europe through international cooperation, exchange of ideas and experience, and by influencing policy.”
So... what is YOUR favorite Park in Europe?
It's hard to choose! I really love Snowdonia and Northumberland...
